Why are you involved with Montessori education?
I love the progressive thinking and planning of the Montessori model. It enables teachers to empower the next generation to be independent and enthusiastic lifelong learners, who remain curious and engaged with life.

What year did you commence at MIC?
2018

How would you describe what you do?
I equip the students with the necessary skills, knowledge and motivation to lead healthy and physically active lives. I do this by teaching and modelling the benefits of fitness and healthy eating.
I also teach mathematics concepts, skills and reasoning in a way that applies to practical life situations.

What’s your favourite thing about your role?
Witnessing the progression of students’ skills and seeing and hearing about their engagement in productive, successful and healthy lives outside the classroom/school as a result of my teaching/influence.
