The Film online Pamoja course develops students’ skills so that they become adept in interpreting and making film texts. The course explores film history and theory and develops students’ critical abilities, enabling them to appreciate the variety of cultural and historical perspectives on film. Topics covered in this course cover textual analysis, film history and theory, and film production. As this course is taught online, students have the opportunity to develop intercultural understanding by studying alongside students from around the world and exchanging ideas with people from very different backgrounds.
Students are expected to devote 150 hours to the Film course.
