Why are you involved with Montessori education?
I feel very strongly that for an individual to reach their full potential, they need an environment that caters for their specific learning needs. Montessori provides this through independently driven, meaningful learning. Plus I get to work with the most passionate, funny, interesting people every day, and you can’t really beat that.

How would you describe what you do?
We provide an authentic Montessori environment for our students, and my role is to assist the Guides as they navigate their way through the years 9 -12. I provide support with Montessori materials and hopefully inspire and encourage them to explore the world around them in a purposeful, hands on way.

What’s your favourite thing about your role?
Working with children every day. They are wise, insightful, inspiring….and entertaining!
