Parent Ambassador – Mudjimba (Early Years)

What do you love about MIC?

I love how much my children love coming to school everyday; the spark in their eyes when they share what they’re learning with me, and the way each of their very different personalities and learning styles are nurtured.

What year did you join the MIC parent community?

2013

How you would best describe your role as a parent ambassador?

I see the Parent Ambassador role as a link to welcome and include parents in the cogs that help turn the wheels of this community. Feeling like we belong is such a big part of our humanity: us Parent Ambassadors are the grass-roots of this process here.

What’s your favourite thing about your role as parent ambassador?

As a Parent Ambassador in the Early Years, I love helping families get their first foot-hold on their journey of belonging – calling our MIC community their own. I want other families to be able to have a similar experience to our family in what we have found here at MIC.
