Narin Harrison

Qualifications
Bachelor of Teaching (Primary); NAMC Montessori Teacher Training Diploma Program.

Why are you involved with Montessori education?
The Montessori approach to life-long learning has always intrigued me. After all my teaching experience, I can now say, with great confidence, this pedagogy is by far the creme de la creme for all our young people; I am fully entrenched.

What year did you commence at MIC?
2016

How would you describe what you do?
Each day I dance between guiding the children and the children guiding me as we all work towards the ultimate goal, a more peaceful world.
Each day I provide a flexible springboard for the education of the whole child; the social-emotional, physical and intellectual child.
Each day I go home feeling the warmth from making a positive difference to the lives of young people.

What’s your favourite thing about your role?
Cannot possibly choose between the beautiful children and families here at MIC, the fantastic supportive staff and this stunning bush setting!
