Louise Formosa

With over 20 years of legal experience, Louise Formosa is a lawyer specialising in planning and environment, commercial, property, and corporate governance law. Together with her family, she co-directs four local businesses — Eumundi Parkside Markets, Eumundi Square, Eumundi Service Station, and Mt Eerwah Macadamias.
 
A strong advocate for community, Louise has contributed for several years as director and rotating chair of Experience Eumundi, secretary of the Eumundi Chamber of Commerce, member of the Eumundi and District Community Association Inc., and former director and deputy chair of Tourism Noosa Ltd.
 
Her professional background combines legal expertise with hands-on experience in many fields such as infrastructure project design and implementation, destination marketing, event management, grant funding and sponsorship, and strategic planning. Collaboration and achieving outcomes through teamwork are central to her approach.
 
Louise’ spare time is spent living on the farm at Eerwah Vale with the love of her life Billy and their two daughters Sunlight (who is a student at MIC) and Ember.
