Why are you involved with Montessori education?

My love of learning and belief that education should be tailored to students, rather than forcing them into a one-size-fits-all approach has inspired me to make the change to being a Montessori teacher.

What year did you start at MIC?

How would you describe what you do?

I aim to foster students’ interests, improve their numeracy and inspire them to enjoy maths and have confidence in themselves and their abilities.

What is your favourite thing about your role?

I get more time to understand learners and differentiate my lessons to the student’s needs and make learning experiences more relevant and enjoyable. Also working with the students on Community Projects that will benefit the wider MIC.
