Why are you involved with Montessori education?

I was fortunate enough to do a teaching placement with MIC during my Master’s Degree and fell in love with the Montessori method. The approach to learning at MIC aligns perfectly with my own teaching philosophy and the students here are exceptionally prepared for life beyond the classroom.

How would you describe what you do?

I spend my time with the Maths and Business students in Senior Phase and help with community projects and assisting as often as I can in the Adolescent Community.

What’s your favourite thing about your role?

The students at MIC are absolutely amazing and the community learning environment provides so much opportunity for students and staff.
