What do you love about MIC?

I love many things about MIC – the like-minded, open community; the beautiful land on which the school resides; the passionate guides who really go above and beyond for our kids. But the main thing I love about MIC is the dedication to the Montessori Method, and the commitment to helping our children develop as unique, confident and creative individuals.

What year did you join the MIC parent community?

Our family came to MIC when our daughter started her Prep year in 2019. My son has now also joined MIC, and I am also working within the Early Years environments downstairs in the Roundhouse.

How would you best describe your role as a Parent Ambassador?

I feel I contribute positive, helpful and thoughtful communication to our Cooinda families, and encourage participation and connectedness within our classroom community.

What’s your favourite thing about your role as a Parent Ambassador?

I enjoy feeling connected to my child’s classmates and their families, as well as to her teaching community. I also enjoy helping new families find their way as they navigate their new school.
