Why are you involved with Montessori education?
The past ten years working as a teacher internationally and in Australia has taught me to firmly believe that active, hands-on learning where children are given freedom to explore and pursue their passions and interests is the best learning approach. The Montessori philosophy matches my personal beliefs and practices seamlessly.
What year did you commence at MIC?
How would you describe what you do?
I teach and inspire students from early years to adolescence to learn and explore Mandarin and the Chinese culture and I also coordinate the senior students’ LOTE program.
What’s your favourite thing about your role?
To see students fully enjoy and engage in language learning and see the smiles on their faces.
