Why are you involved with Montessori education?
Maria Montessori believed that if we can help children to respect themselves and others, then the world would be brought closer to peace. The amount of respect in the Montessori classroom is undeniably amazing. A peaceful world is surely more important then anything else.
What year did you commence at MIC?
How would you describe what you do?
I help guide the children towards a love of learning. We teach lifelong skills and knowledge through the second brain (the hand).
What’s your favourite thing about your role?
There are too many great things about my role to choose only one, but observing the child’s excitement and pride when they ‘get it’ is hard to beat!
