Why are you involved with Montessori education?
I am involved with Montessori because watching the students fulfil their potential in a nurturing and adaptive environment indicates to me that future generations are going to be in the best of hands. With a focus on the broader community and a harmonious nature, I believe that these students will be provided with the best tools to face our ever-changing world.
What year did you commence at MIC?
I commenced my involvement at MIC in 2016 as a volunteer, aiding in the set up of Imagineers. Since then I have continued to assist with every Imagineers event. In this time I have also been a fitness tutor through the Montessori+ Program, for both students and staff of MIC as well as adults of the local community. I became a staff member in 2019.
How would you describe what you do?
In 2019, I had the pleasure of joining the Junior Primary Assistant staff, aiding in the day-to-day running of the Wira classroom.
What’s your favourite thing about your role?
